Chicago Lounge

Been thinking about a Washington/Boston/Chicago trip next year and just spotted that a couple of Gs were available into Washington and out of Chicago for our preferred dates. I get the impression 2 G seats on the same flight is pretty rare so I've just nabbed them. I was a bit short on the miles front, but with 20% extra promotion, the 55k I needed were only £700, so how could I say no?

Anyway, as I'll be flying home from Chicago, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the lounge? The VS site says it's the Air France one...

I haven't been there, but generally the words 'Lounge' and "Air France' in the same sentence worry me. The LAX AF lounge is the pits!

I was in the Chicago Air France lounge last week. Actually, for an american lounge it's not too bad. There are windows and a view of the runway for a start. You can help yourself to alcoholic and soft drinks and tea / coffee. Snack-wise there were sandwiches (chicken and vegetarian) and crisps to help yourself too. Also, you could get packets of sweet biscuits and slices of cake.
If you want to eat something more substantial, there are plenty of restaurants in the actual departure terminal.
Hope that helps...
