V-Flyer

Hey guys

Just a quick trip report for you as a way of thanking you for your info pre-flight.

Flew upper from Manchester to Las Vegas - airport lounge at Manchester was basic but decent and there is a new seperate area for Virgin Upper class which was nice touch.

Got seat 6 A, K and 7A - all decent and made a good area for 3 people flying together.

There were a few problems with seat 6K but nothing too major - however flight crew struggled with all of our tables trying to get them in and out for food service.

Flight crew were superb from boarding to landing and really made the flight a pleasure. Having never flown upper before i dont know if this was standard or extra over but it made the flight. Nothing was too much trouble and always a smiling face

Overall loved the experience and worried I may have now been spoilt.

Return flight was Premium Economy as usual. Fairly standard uneventfull but i couldnt help looking enviously through the curtain..

Thanks Red. We are flying the same route in UC on the 29th.
Haven't heard of the separate area for VS passengers in the lounge at Man...I know there are two sections to the lounge but these have always been open to various airlines.
Hope you enjoyed Vegas.

Oh well maybe i've got that mixed up then - we went into the escape lounge and showed them our Virgin Upper Class stuff and they said oh we have a seperate lounge for you now and took us back out of that lounge and into a seperate one nearer to the stairs where you come up to all the lounges... Was my first time so this may actually be standard.

Yes I cant see me wanting to do Premium again lol. This is how they get you - free upgrades with the miles and sucker you right in ;-)
