EDI - new Aspire lounge now open
Posted: 03 Jun 2014, 16:21Pleasantly surprised, I am now sitting in the new Aspire lounge in Edinburgh.
They have opened up the renovated front part now, and there is a dividing plasterboard at the rear, presumably so they can now work on the 'back half'..
I haven't taken any photos, as it's fairly chockablock.
Layout is booth-style, with some booths having their own 16" TV.
Colour theme is grey.. And many many shades thereof. Grey stripey walls.. Grey chairs.. Grey flooring... Grey lampshades. Not sure I like it...
Current f&b selection is similar to old Servisair lounge, except slightly less snack choice, but with the addition of soup and rolls. Suspect that space is limiting full selection, and more will appear when the back half of the lounge opens.
