Oh no - bad timing

Just realised that our T-60 date for our hols in August is 25th June. Hows that for bad planning! The day when every man and his dog will be trying to select seats at 8:00am, no doubt sending the web server into meltdown.

4.5 hours after the official T-60 window for my August 3rd flight.....the emptiness of the UC seat map is spoiled only by my seat requests and the apparently always greyed out 1G.

Every v-flyer will be selecting seats, me included. I do wonder if any one else will be that bothered? When a seat map opens there never seems to be a mad rush for seats! At least in my experience.

12 hours into T-60 on our flight and so far four seats - our two plus two others - have been selected.

Edited to add:

24 hours into T-60 and still only four seats selected. So either a quiet flight, or the general travelling public don't care as much as V-F'ers....

Edited to add:

56 hours into T-60 and and still only four seats selected.

Our September (23/09 - 04/10) holiday to San Francisco and Vegas is booked through Thomas Cook, - (all paid for, booked earlier this year) flying with Virgin Atlantic in PE, will our seats become available on June 25th aswell? Or will it be T-60?

Assuming it opens up at the same time as seat selection has previously at T60/90 then around 8am yes
