A very good morning to all from the wonderful Clubhouse here at sunny Gatwick. Our first time in here, very impressed. just about to tuck into a very nice looking breakfast with a couple of delicious redheads to follow.

As an aside I had the misfortune yesterday of using the BA Terraces lounge at Gatwick North.

While I was in there I received a text asking me to complete a short online survey about my experience of BA so far.

I did, telling them the lounge was barely better than Servisair (no hot food other than soup at lunchtime? Really? Even the No.1 lounge can manage better than that) and advised them to look to VS for an example of how to do it properly.

Within an hour I was paged over the PA and asked to report to reception where I was told my feedback had been noted and I was by no means the only passenger to comment unfavourably about the lounge.

Who knows if anything will change but at least it proves not only are those online surveys read, they're seen instantly by the managers on the ground not just by some faceless person in head office. So credit to BA for that.

I agree with Gumshoe - the Gatwick Clubhouse is a little gem
