I can heartily recommend 'Locke'. Odd and offbeat, but mesmeric.

Thats one I was looking at grabbed my attention and think Hardy is a great actor. Never got round to seeing "Starred Up" at the cinema so them two plus maybe one from the back catalogue should see me into JFK nicely

He is a great actor and shapeshifter, rather than someone who gets placed in roles because of their persona. Matthew McConaughey has the same quality.

Got to disagree with McConaughey until recent years I firmly believe he was in films to attract womens interest. Seemed to go away and has come back a true actor. Have you seen "A Time to Kill" or "Two For The Money" highly reccomend both he never seemed to get recognition for them. Hoping Dallas Buyers Club might still be available for one of the flights not managed to see that yet

You may well be right, McConaughey only really came into my worldview with 'Mud'. 'Dallas Buyers Club' was a great performance, but it's his performance in 'True Detective' that sealed it for me.

I'll keep a lookout for the two films you mention.
