VS019 LHR to SFO 23rd Sept Seat selection

Hi Guys

Its getting near to my T-60 (Friday 25th) and I'm currently studying the seats maps and reading all of the relevant seat descriptions as to where the best seats will be in Premium Economy - VS19 Heathrow to San Francisco 13pm. From what I can tell, and have seen there aren't many "bad" seats in this cabin....

Are there any recommendations anyone has for me? Two adults, no kids, husband isn't unusually tall (5ft 8in) and I'm only small (5ft 1in) :)

Any seats (that I haven't noticed) to avoid?
Thank you.

Two adults here as well. We'd recommend A & C or H & K, rows 32,33,35,36. Avoid 34 as it lacks a window and even though you're mostly over water or cloud and can't see anything, it feels (to me anyway) a bit dark and certainly claustrophobic.

Row 37 has some devotees on here because contrary to what seat guru says, it does have full recline and you don't feel guilty as there's no-one behind you. Against that is proximity to loos and queues for them and also food is usually served from the front and you risk the dish you want having run out.

Have a good time, happy T-60. I did ours today for VS1 on 20 September.

I can't help, but wanted to wish you an excellent time. I've just come home and am yet to book the next trip. So will take this time to languish in the dreams of others.

Thanks for that guys - Whiterose - i'll check those options out.

Any opinion on 29H/K ?

Marshy - I know that feeling, I'm looking into booking my May holiday next year and I haven't even been on my September one yet!! haha My husband can't keep up with our holiday plans, he just asks for a list of days he needs to take off work!! But don't you just love the planning......:)

I think you can only book 29H/K at check-in time as it's the exit row though others will know accurately. I don't like that row because the screen folds out and seat width is a bit reduced but that's just a personal view.

I've only done PE on the Gatwick route and my favourite is row 19 which I believe would equate to 37 on the Heathrow config.
Great to have no one behind, both guilt free reclining and no one tapping the screen on the back of your seat.

Agree with WR on this ,they were both free when I went to NYC once so I quickly nabbed them for me and my son when the doors shut but went back to my original seats as there was more legroom by slipping my feet underneath the seats in front

I'm chosing 37A/C (at the mo just sitting waiting for seat map to open at 8am.

Quick question about the exit row seats 29H/K, I understand these only come available at check-in, but if I changed at check in and chose these, do they come with the little foot rest? the portable cushion type one? wasn't sure with it being an exit area?
