Having never flown with VX, I'm surprised to read that it's a low cost airline. And you are right about the badly written part.

VX is billed as a low cost carrier but frankly the service is far better than most of the USA domestic 'full service' carriers.

With the level of bankruptcies in traditional full fare full service airlines, if VX called themselves anything other than low cost investors would be running for the hills! Low cost is cool and sexy, financial growth.
