Morn from sunny Cyprus all
I'm thinking about going to Boston on the first Dreamliner flight on the 28th of October but was just wondering how set in stone people think this date is .

When you say 'new seat booking' came online on July 25th - how do you mean? I am booked on this first flight and seat map is unavailable with 89 days to go.

It hasn't come on line yet although 25th July was the date set for the go live.
So what I meant was the 789 may not go live either.
It was all meant to be a bit tongue in cheek.

I hope for the sake of those who have booked that it does but there are no guarantees.

I doubt VS will do anything much to mark the occasion TBH. You *may* get a water cannon or two as BOS on taxing to the gate, but I bet there's nothing else. It's not like it's a new destination or anything.

I doubt very much you'll see a water canon salute since the JAL 787 was damaged during one in TPA.

OK, ot wasn't the jet that did the damage but still....

Decided against booking for the first flight just in case it doesn't happen on that day and have instead booked for the start of Dec .
Can't wait to see the inside of the Dreamliner
