Not sure if it represents good value - for £62 you can order a Priority Pass through Virgin Shops Away.
Each visit using the £62 card is £15, however if you are planning to fly a lot and don't have status then the £143 option includes 10 visits, while £233 gets you unlimited lounge access.

Thanks Sealink
It is cheaper than the pp site - that is £69 / £159 / £259 - there are other offers out there though.
It is about the only Amex plat perk I really miss since I ditched the card

If it is just the miles you are after then it is expensive. The miles should cost you no more than £15 to buy 1000

As Nottingham Nick states, there are other offers out there --Natwest black card, offers a limitless entry Priority pass for both cardholder and partner [a card each] for £24 a month, this I think is far more attractive as the black card also includes worldwide travel insurance for family [and up to 5 guests on same trip], Green Flag breakdown cover, extended warranty on all electrical equipment, mobile phone cover etc

Natwest black card insists on £100K+ PA sole income of account holder being paid into the account though.
