Using Flying Club miles for car hire or hotel??

I need to hire a 12 seater van for next year and they are expensive - £700 - £1000 for 2 weeks?? I see you can use your miles to convert to vouchers towards the cost. We have 3 different flying club accounts in the family. Do we need to transfer miles to one person, or can we ask when booking to take miles from all the accounts.
Or, can we use miles to book hotel rooms and if so what rate do we get off??In the middle of our 2 week break we are driving to Miami and staying for night but need 3 rooms.
Any advice would be appreciated! I think between the 3 accounts we have around 50,000 miles.

My comment on this, I think others may agree, is that a lot of items you can spend miles on are not that great value. Using them as payment for upgrades and flights (UC Mainly) seems to get the best return.
I have no personal experience with Car Rental but I do believe you can exchange VS miles in to Hilton Honors points, you seem to get 2 Flying Club miles for 3 Hilton HHonors points. The most basic Hiltons are now 30,000 a room per night from what I can see looking at my account so if you do the math on that.....
Hope that is of some little help.

Just as an edit - Just found this. May be worth a read if you decide.

I do not know the specifics. However, my impression is that even 50,000 miles will not be a significant savings for your car rental expense.
