Another VS website fail, for several days now the advertised UC fare is £4515 PVG and £4,792 HKG.

All the dates I have searched for both destinations allowing for a little bit of flexibility are coming in at least £1000 less ---- and incidentally AMS trick to Shanghai less than £2000 total

VS must be losing passengers to browsers who just look at headline fares

I sometimes struggle to find the advertised low fares, but this is a first :)

That could suggest a sale is about to launch. There often is one around the August bank holiday.

The prices usually drop online a day or two before the sale officially starts.

It's a bizarre headline fare for UC...

Most businesses gradually inflate prices leading up to a sale. Makes the discount appear bigger. Oldest sales trick in the book.

But they aren't increasing prices - VS are selling fares cheaper than they are advertising.

Sorted, I fly this route in UC every six weeks and knew these fares were wrong, again makes you wonder if anybody checks these things!

I spoke to VS this morning requesting I class fares [includes chauffeur driven car both sides] -- guess what? £4,515 to PVG, VS have somehow posted as "Asia lowest fares" the fares including the car

Surely this should have been noticed internally? v(
