Clubhouse it is not but it's far better than the T5 lounge

Enjoy. The lounge itself wasn't too bad when we experienced it last year, save for the food which was somewhere around middling school dinner standard.

Ah, BA lounge food. A tempting choice of gloop, slop or sludge.

At least they serve hot food at LHR. At LGW you don't even get that at lunchtime (apart from soup). I've had better in a Servisair lounge.

We were there last Friday and you're right, Clubhouse it isn't, but then again, I wasn't expecting it to be. Felt quite impersonal, I thought!

As BA lounges I found it to be one of the better ones although was only in there about 15 minutes for a quick drink and fresh fruit salad before boarding.

Anyway, excellent flights both ways and crew inbound more than made up for the recent negative experience I had outbound to Dubai. Even brought home a bottle of champers from Club Europe :-)
