WOW!.

Really was worth watching...BUT... how can SRB let another foreign airline beat him to the US? :o)

*** GEEK COMMENT*** Great lens on the camera to get that close given the separation required in flight. |:)

It does look real...someone on YT suggested it wasn't. ?|

Maybe there's a movie from the VS346 somewhere?

Fantastic - thanks for sharing. Puts my photos of a Lufthansa A330 we raced across the Atlantic whilst I was on a VS 744 in August. Not nearly as close at these two but a great sight.....especially when you are the winner!

Jon :D

that is an awesome video.
that camera lense must be amazing!!!
so the dreamliner is faster than the 346 then!!
I love that the blinds are kept open on transatlantic day flights.
on the far east day flights the blinds still get closed and the cabin lights dimmed!

that's a pretty cool video and a great advert for the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000.

The 787 was always going to win the race over the 340-600 as it has a 32 km/hr advantage in cruise (dependent on load and altitude); it's all in the wing design.
