We are looking to book some Upper flights next year using the Dublin method. I have priced flights that take us through Manchester using the ITA Matrix tool. The Dublin to Manchester legs and return are operated by Aer Lingus

Could anyone let me know if

1) Can we leave our bags at Manchester and check them in when we arrive for our Virgin flight ?

2) On our return will they check our bags through to Dublin or can we ask them to check them to Manchester only so we don't have to take the last flight?

Any advice would be greatly apreciated,

Steve

In UC most V-Flyers prefer the 747 and in particular the cabin at the very front (rows 12-19 on the LHR fleet) as it's very spacious and intimate (only 14 seats).

Failing that the A340-600 is ok, preferably 3-7K or 8-12A for added privacy.

The A330-300, though, is widely disliked as it's cramped and lacks privacy.
