Reserving Seats (60 days before-hand)

A question if I may. Have researched a few posts regarding this however still not sure of the answer. When can I reserve my seats (60 day policy). My flight is on the 1st December at 09.30am, so does that mean at 00.01 on the 1st of October? Was reading the servers are based in the US and therefore time difference could be a factor. Anyone know for sure the answer to this?
Many thanks in advance.

It will be the 2nd October as that is 60 days until the 1st December (there being 31 days in Oct).
And it will be 8am on the dot. The only time it is 7am is for a week or two in March when the US has already put its clocks forward and we haven't.

Selected my seats in UC for the 21 Nov on the opening day and so far mine are the only ones selected.

Many thanks for the info. May sound like a stupid question, though you can reserve your return seats that day? Ill have to wait 60 days prior to the retun flight (16th Dec) on book them?

No, it doesn't sound like a stupid question, but no you can't do the return on the same day. You have to wait until T-60 from that return date.

Okay perfect. Ill set another calendar reminder in my outlook for that then. Thanks for clearing this all up. Can’t wait to actually get away now. Next up is to get Indian Visa which I heard is quite stressful.

Selected ours at 0800, changed by Virgin at 0900 to a crap place right by the toilets and VS did not even bother contacting us and will not honour our original as they say it is for someone with "special needs", nor move us as close as possible to the originals. Which might be true but the skeptic in me says that this could have been done before the 60 days if that was the case. And yes I do know it is a request and not a guarantee.

Can confirm it was 8am on the dot. I checked again at 9am and 8 seats had been reserved already. So defiantly worth posting this question, and much appreciate all your correct answers.
Although I am worried re: Silver Fox's experience, and do understand these are not guaranteed but merely a request.

I'm really sad and go back and check mine as often as possible because I have had them moved before in the past as well.
Half way through the 60 days and we're OK, so I am holding my breath!

Not sad at all. Only been a day and I’ve checked mine about 4 times as still not too sure where to sit. The seat behind me apparently has no window according to seat guru, so not sure if this will affect me in somewhat..

I've just moved our return seats in PE from one side of the plane to the other as there was one row less and 2 rather than 1 toilet at the front of that aisle so I figured we might be quicker getting served dinner and less of a wait for the loo. (plus it was an excuse to check our seats again!!!)
I will probably be proved wrong, but I just didn't know where to sit anyway!

Am I right in assuming then that as I have approx 60 days 23hrs and 20 mins until my flight I need to wait until past my flight time tomorrow ie past the 60 day mark or will it be available at 8am tomorrow morning ?

It should be 8am on the morning of T-60 Blacky, so if your flight's on Dec 3rd it should be tomorrow morning.
