Hello All
Travelling to Delhi in mid Oct in PE, are PE passengers able to plug in usb sticks into the entertainment monitor and watch their own films?
If so, anyone tried and tested this and what type of files work, avi, mkv etc?
Many thanks
Adam

Assuming you're on an A333 with the new touchscreen IFE, you can plug in a USB stick.. However the VS website only talks about viewing PDFs and photos, it makes no mention of video.
Whether that's the case in reality I don't know but if you want to watch your own films on board I'd take a tablet or laptop, which will be better quality anyway.

Oh ok. Yes, there are standard UK & US plug sockets in PE on the A333. Don't know where though.

The power sockets on VERA touch IFE fitted aircraft (it's also universal so will accept UK/US & EU plugs) are located between the Premium Economy seats close to the cabin floor. This is all the 333's and the LGW/MAN 744's.
For VERA On-Demand IFE fitted aircraft, there is no universal power socket but an EmPower socket instead, these are in the same location between the seats but you will need an EmPower cable. That's all LHR 346's, LHR 744's and the one remaining LHR 343.

Travel with films on a USB stick as normally use it in the hotel TV. The IFE doesnt have the codecs to play back your own movies via USB stick. Have tried this to no avail. Hope that helps.

Have to agree with wdcosta here - I have tried all sorts to get my own media to play from the basic WMV file types to MP4, nothing seems to work so I guess it just is picture
I have never tried the iPod type connector they have new 330's. Wonder if that makes any difference.
If it makes any difference to anyone the USB port will charge my iphone but not my ipad
