Database Crash 11 Nov 14

The V-Flyer database crashed about 13.40pm today, requiring a restore from our overnight backup. Unfortunately that means we've lost any posts made this morning - apologies.

Although this is a rare event, we're working on a new version of the site which uses updated database code to minimise this kind of disruption.

Apologies once again if any of your posts today were deleted.

Pete

My understanding is that Pete and the VS Ticketing Department are one and the same.

I offer two items of evidence:

1) VS Customer Services confirmed that Ticketing only employs one person at 'certain times' ('certain' meaning 'all').

2) I notice that while Pete was fixing v-flyer today, nobody got their e-tickets.

Coincidence?

I don't think so... :?

NYLON, if I were the VS ticketing department, I'd be issuing myself an awful lot more free Upper Class flights. And by an awful lot more, I mean at least one...
