Trying to check for reward seats from London to Chicago next July but keep getting this message:
"Sorry there are no flights available for the dates selected, as this is a seasonal flight
Our miles only London to Chicago flight period: 30 April to 21 October
Please search again or check our Flight Schedules."
Am I missing something? Last time I checked July was between 30th April to 21st October.

Means that there are no reward flights available.

I just did a dummy booking for cash and the flights were there so it's an issue with reward availability.

You could give them a ring and ask them to check

I phoned and apparently there's lots of availability in upper for July, they had no idea why the website was saying that.

That's why IMO it's always best to ring up

I have some Gs booked for ORD next June, and following the announcement on seat selection, I tried a dummy search for the flights to check what plane they will be on. I got the same message! It seems that the VS website isn't quite showing any direct flights for the return journey. I even tried expedia and it was also missing the direct return flights VS 40.

There must be a bug somewhere on the VS system, and I can only imagine that it's costing VS a bit of money! I do hope that they get their IT system in shape soon, but I'm not going to hold my breath...
