Greetings from the No.1 Traveller Lounge at T3

Hello from the No.1 Lounge!
It's relatively busy. I've managed to have the chicken caesar pitta, washed down with a glass of pinot grigio, but it was more like half a pitta
Good job they have bits and bobs that I can snack on, and that I'll be fed on the VS400 to DXB in a couple of hours time.
Special big waves to Sungod -- I followed your advice and managed to get myself upgraded from a travel agent economy fare to PE for £199! The lady at the Upgrade Sales desk started at £269, so I said no, and she dropped it to £199 so I snapped it up.
It's got to be worth it on a red eyes flight, and also given that work paid for the tickets in the first place
Better still, she then whispered "as you will be flying in Premium, you can purchase access to the CH for £60". I was very excited, despite having already booked and paid for the No.1 lounge. I thought, I have a good 3 hours or so to spend at the CH, and it's got to be worth it for £60. So I went to the door and was ready to purchase. But the lady there said that I was too early, as a purchased pass only gives you access for 2 hours. She advised that I came back in an hour (10 minutes from now
), and suggested that I try the No.1 Lounge next door.
So here I am. I'm actually quite comfortable here, so will probably stay put. Not planning on drinking too much anyway so might save myself some cash...
