I was wondering if anyone new what an 'A' Fare Code would be? Mrs Shoreline and I are booked in 'A' on the return from AKL to SFO in January, Flight NZ008, then K on the

This very site says VS do not use 'A' so after some digging around over on *cough* FT *cough*, I found that 'A' is discounted/upgraded premium economy with NZ

Is anyone able to confirm this? I just wanted to check, as on the Manage my Booking page, it does not display 'Economy' or 'Premium Economy' above that part of the journey - just an ominous grey box saying 'Return'. A new fare class perhaps? All other legs of the journey have the corresponding VS Upper/PE over the top.

I'd contact NZ on that one as it may be an error or some sort of glitch

Are you able to view and select your seats? If so that should show which cabin you're in.

The 'manage my booking' page on the VS website doesn't show the cabin class for legs flown on third party airlines in my experience, so I wouldn't have said there was anything to worry about.

Thanks for tips Phoned VS who gave me a NZ booking ref and confirms its PE - hopefully on one of their 777-300ERs and fancy seats!
