I love the spread sheet too.
My favourite line is:
=DATEVALUE("20/2/2015")-TODAY()
Currently shows 88 on mine and only thing not done is book the taxi to the airport.
Have a great trip and enjoy the planning.

Sounds like an amazing trip sgilly74!! What cabin are you travelling in?
I am also glad to see that I am not the only one that does stuff like this:

We're doing a similar trip n March. NYC-Atlantic city-DC.
Spreadsheets and organisation isn't my thing...
Tickets, money, passports! Tickets, money, passports. Said as we leave the house (a-la Ab Fab) is as organised as we get.
Hope you have a nice trip
Darren

Really glad that im not the only one who does this, however now I need to find some cool company logo's to make it even better!

Darren is partial to a bottle or three of Veuve Cliquot among other things

Mind, I think most of us on here like a tipple of champoo. Stolly Bolly anyone?

I have started creating my spreadsheet.
Flying to Boston on 23rd July & Return via New York on the 7th August
Got tons to do.
Sort out Car Hire
Sort out Esta travel thingy
sort out train tickets
etc
Going to book AirBnB places where I can for an authentic road trip.
Hoping to squeeze in Niagara, possibly Toronto, Lancaster (im fascinated by the Amish!), Philly, possibly Baltimore & then DC.
I have found a nice Man V Food Steak Challenge between Baltimore & Philly.

Now to start with my itinerary Excel spreadsheet !!!
I would love to be able to use Excel well enough to do this myself. But sadly my IT skills are not that efficient. I did manage to create a very basic spreadsheet for my Avios and Virgin FC miles monitoring, but nothing as fancy as the spreadsheet example above!
But I am obsessive with planning though, and use a Word table instead of Excel. Clearly I am lagging behind current trends

Dicky old bean

I can't get that formula to work in Excel, it produces an error - could you elaborate a bit please?
