Crumbs, what a nice terminal!!
Need to get my LR fill in T2 before they cease to fly. What a shape we endured T1 for so long.

Any idea if anyone is picking up the EDI LHR route?

I was there for the trials this year and since then flew with LH and back with OS ...
Brilliant terminal from start to finish ... Immigration gates are the best I've ever been through ... Lightning quick !

If you've got a Priority Pass the Plaza Premium (T2A) and United (T2B) lounges are in a league of their own compared to most PP shared lounges (yes Servisair, I mean you).

My only annoyance with T2 so far was last Saturday when a LR flight from MAN parked at gate 21 which is an international gate, therefore we had to board a bus to drive us to the domestic arrivals entrance - a walk of approximately 20 seconds but a process that took 10 minutes while two buses loaded, drove to the end of the terminal then back again in the one-way system. Only at LHR ...

ooo, i hate that

other airports you stroll across the tarmac, some for a few hundred metres, but LHR, oh no, you must go by bus

not only that, you get off the bus, then end up with a couple of hundred people stuck in a corridor blocked by a locked door and no way to call attention to the fact

only at LHR, it's run by daleks

/deep breath

Isn't it just! y) I've used it several times with Aer Lingus, including the second day after it transferred from T1. I've accessed it to/from the Underground, the HEX, the Central Bus Station, taxi, Flight Connections and each time it has been a pleasant experience, especially after decades of the old T1 corrugated tubes where they hid the ROI flights.
