Just spotted this on Flightradar 24. Is the VS's second 787 enroute to LHR?

Many thanks, with this and 2 more in Feb, does that mean goodbye to the 343's by early March, or will any 346's go first.

I wonder what the Lagos route will get when the 346s are all out. We're certainly not getting 787s. A350s perhaps? Is VS still getting those?

Sorry for veering OT. I just got a bit worried that we may end up with the oldest planes in the fleet at some point.

No decision has been made on the A350s they are possible for the Gatwick 747 replacement but no decision as yet.

As for Lagos, I suspect it will stay 346 until the they leave the fleet then possible A330? Thats a pure guess but I suspect VS will use the 789s on route 7 hour+ due to fuel economy or on routes that require a high class cabin (such as DXB, something Craig Kreeger has commented on previously).

Thanks LREDI. I suspect you're right about the A330s but stay hopeful for the 789s because we're usually full in UC on the VS651 & 652 and having the cramped cabin 4 across just won't do.

I know we rely on Pete working on this when he has time, but when will the 787's be added to the data base and flight status tool include these flights please?

The A343 are going out if service at the end of Jan and the end of Feb. There is an A346 going in January too. Remember the Mumbai and Tokyo are finishing at the end of January so that frees up two aircraft.
