Connecting flights

Hi all

I am planning a trip to India in March for a family wedding :)
We (me and 3 family members) have started looking at flights and ideally we want to fly to ATQ (Amritsar) as this removed the need for an 8 hour drive from DEL to our destination, we have all heard how dangerous Indian roads are xx(
I have been told that Jet airways is the best option as they fly to DEL and then have connecting flights to ATQ.
My preference would be to fly VS (obvs :X )and then get a connecting flight with JET onto ATQ.
But I have been told that its better to fly with JET to DEL as that would give us the advantage in case of any delays etc. I am guessing on same PNR ?
Does anyone have any useful advice on this ?
Reviews on JET are mixed so I would rather avoid, but if our VS flight is delayed and we miss our connection with JET my travel companions are not going to be happy with me !

Thanks
L2H

JET are a VS partner so VS should be able to book the whole trip on one ticket for you.

As long as it's all on the same PNR, if the VS flight is delayed it's their responsibility to get you on a flight to Amritsar asap.

Looked up on expedia and you could take the Delhi flight and connect to a Jet flight to Amritsar with 2hrs to connect. As mentioned above as they are partners and if you book in one booking then if you miss the connection (which is unlikely)they should sort everything out for you
