I am not sure if your aware Sodexo have won the contract for the new Delta arrivals lounge at Terminal 3 at Heathrow with multiple breakfast options and 11 private and on site butler services including clothes press and shoe shine.

Sodexo do the catering at the 3 Virgin lounges in the UK and some of the front of house staff

Sodexo has also won the contract for the new LAX lounge opening April this year

Sounds interesting, any news on when this will happen? Is it likely the Delta lounge will be available for VS UC passengers?

I have just heard this news on my company intranet so I suppose if we may hear something from Virgin soon about this

I'm sure I saw signs for the Delta Lounge last week. Is this a revamp / change of provider / entirely new facility.

According to our intranet it's a brand new arrivals lounge

BUT, will it be open for later arriving flights?

Afternoon all,

Mrs Hull and I arrived on the DL34 LAX-LHR on Sunday afternoon a little after 1400 and were through customs and into the baggage hall by 1500, we tried to use the lounge but it closes at 1400.

To access the lounge you have to exit T3 via the exit adjacent to the lifts that take you to the VS arrivals lounge, it is just up on the left hand side next to the bus stop.

I think the DL crew are just getting used to the idea of an arrivals lounge as they made a big deal about us being able to use it, alas by the time they had made the announcement it had already closed

That sounds like it is where the old AC Maple Leaf arrivals lounge is.

Other than the press release I posted it doesn't appear to be mentioned on the LHR pages of the DL website either.

Couldn't see ot on the LHR map either

It's pretty clearly signed (which was how I managed to notice it... )
