Does anyone know why today's 15 to MCO has been cancelled. Is it a consolidation or a tech issue? Just curious

Its a worry.
I'm on 27 in a few weeks.
I dread the thought of being knocked back out of my reward seat but I am aware it could happen.

Thanks for the info. We nearly always end up on the 15. Been consolidated twice and this slot is late more often than not. Bit of a 'poor relation'' to the 27 but on the up side when you arrive late at MCO it's usually quiet in security.

What date is your flight? The VS15 doesnt operate every day so you may be in luck

You are at no higher or lower risk of being bumped just because you have a reward seat. Ditto of being downgraded.

Pretty sure LGW-MCO is down to one a day for the winter (and, as with LAS, none at all on Tuesdays as of the 20th).
Demand is obviously very low up until February half term but it does allow VS to send the 747s away for maintenance.

It is a Friday. There are two seats available in Upper on 27 and presumably more than that on 15 as there is no warning on the flight search page, which shows the two flights out.
Fingers crossed they don't merge them.

Just checked and I'm going out on Friday at the end of half term week.
It is showing two flights back on the Friday. Fingers crossed again they will need both of those flights and therefore two outbound.

These are long planned consolidations, not just decided on a couple of weeks before because the loads are looking a little light.

Just noticed a VS15 leaving LHR today, Mustang Sally, on its way to Orlando. Not sure what that is all about.Still showing Pretty Woman as being the VS16 from yesterday from MCO with only estimates for all timings.

If it's half term you can be pretty sure they'll need both flights.

Pretty Woman has gone tech in MCO, VROC has been sent empty from LHR to bring home the delayed passengers from the 16 which should have landed this morning. Guess its all about balancing loads, todays outbound 15 was light, but the inbound 16 was busier.
VS will now have 3 744's out of service as AST is going to China for OH tomorrow. May see some more a/c swaps...

i am on the 27 on wednesday, just hope its 744 as usual or "one will not be amused"
am i right in saying 330's rarely do the mco run now ? i did get a 330 on the homeward trip a few years ago but since then it's been all 744 for about the last six or seven trips.

The A330's aren't scheduled to MCO at all currently.
