Clubhouse Guest?

Hi everyone,
Happy New Year!
5 of us are flying out to Miami, 3 in UC and 2 in EC.
Do you know if you can still sign in a guest to LHR clubhouse, and if this needs to be booked in advance? Also, is there a fee? I can't see it on the Virgin site anywhere?
Thanks in advance!

Chris

You can sign in a guest, whatever class they are flying as long as they are on the same VS flight. 3 and 2 sounds fine - lucky guests!
(sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes any UC or Au passenger is entitled to invite a guest into the Clubhouse as long as they're on the same flight.

There's no charge and no need to pre-book, just turn up at reception.

Keep in mind if it's very busy they can deny the guests entry

Just for clarification on the above points if one party is on a G in upper can they sign in a guest?

The wife and Daughter are in UC on G's and i'm in PE looking for G, dont mind the flight as much but don't want to miss out on the lounge as well.

Yes both your wife and daughter can sign a guest in to the CH, subject to the guest being on the same flight. Whether the person doing the inviting acquired the ticket with cash or miles makes no difference, so hope they invite you and have a good time.

Never known it too busy for me either, and I fly peak times. So enjoy! :)

All lounges have this clause. It can even apply to people who are properly entitled to admission (status or cabin) but if the maximum capacity has been reached then legally no one else should be admitted.

It has been reported that the CH is busier now that some DL flights have moved to T3.

The only situation I could see it happening would be if there were delays on multiple flights in a short space of time so there wouldn't be the usual numbers exiting to make space for later entrancers.
