Hi all. Traveling to Orlando may 21st need a hotel with park and stay at gatwick we need a family room and want to be able to take advantage of twilight check in so need to be within walking. We have used the Hilton before but find it very expensive and not that good in the past.

Try the premierinn they have 2 at North and you could just hop on the tram and if you book in advanced you can get it cheap.

Try the brand new bloc hotel at LGW. It's directly above the south terminal. Rooms are small but have everything you need for one night. Great views of the runways!

Some very good park and stay deals...

I have used the Marriott twice in the past twelve months, looked for deals on their own website. I am using again later this month and have double room for £105 plus 12 days parking

We use the Courtyard by Marriott. Very comfortable rooms and a 5 - 10 min walk to the south terminal in the morning with just hand luggage.

We use Holiday Extras to book. Staying next month , £105 for a double room and 16 days parking.

Just checked the bloc hotel site.

For your dates you can get an overnight stay in family room and 8 days valet parking for £137 or with 15 days parking for £162.

You can't get a hotel closer to check in!

I'm a firm fan of their own valet parking combined with a night at the hilton (used to be able to book as a package but hilton shifted to using a 3rd party company so now I book separately). Very convenient as the car drop off is on level 2 of the red car park, and you can walk to the hotel in 1 min if you know the 'secret' door on that same level. Or it's just across the road from the terminal if you wanted to do twilight check in 1st.

Not tried the bloc yet though...

I have not stayed at the Bloc in Gatwick but stayed at the Birmingham one, and the room was tiny (although I think the website description was actually 'compact' not tiny). Not sure how much space there is in their family rooms, even for only one night.
The Courtyard Marriott is cheaper, and the double room I booked last time had two queen beds and a sofa in it.
