I am trying to post on a thread in the Baggage Hall but keep getting an error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forum/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

But I can post in other threads, like this one.

I will flag this to Pete - thanks for letting us know.

Typically this seems to happen when posting from an iPad or iPhone and using the extended keyboard to add smilies rather than the smililes provided by the board. The website can't cope with the extended character set from iOS (yet).

If that's not the issue, I'll need a bit more detail to figure out the problem.

Hi, I've just had the exact same thing happen to me. Wrote out a long post, hit 'submit' and got the error message saying I didn't have permission.

Just tried again and it happened again. This is the message I get:
