Do the A340-300 really still have odessey?

HI,

Just booked my flight to Shanghai, 13hours on teh way back and noticed its not the normal A340-600, does the 300 version really still have the old oddessey system with only 10 movie channels? if so im going to die....

Yes, there's 1 x 343 that still has VERA Reel which is G-VELD. The other remaining 343 in the VS fleet (G-VSUN) does have VERA on demand so you have a 50/50 chance of getting VERA Reel unfortunatley.

If you are in upper class they hand our tablet pcs with larger choice of movies

When is PVG switching to the 787? IIRC VS often use the A343 as a sort of "placeholder" seat plan on some routes.

Mid June it moves on to the 787

Thanks for the replies, glad I can have an I pad at least, wasn't too happy when I saw it at first!

Did check on the Dreamliner but sadly my flight is too early :(

It was Samsung galaxy when I had one and it had films from about a year before, sadly. Would love to hear that improved
