Hi All,

Could anyone clarify if children are allowed in the business class lounge at Glasgow airport.

We are travelling upper class on VS071 to MCO (09-May-15) with my family which includes 2 grandchildren ages 4&3. According to Virgin we are allocated to the Skylounge.

Having searched the GLA website it says that children under 12 years old are not allowed access to the business lounge?

Iain

I had a quick look and it seems to be that the sky lounge has a holiday wing to it which you will be able to use with the children no problem and a business wing which is where under 12s are not allowed

Holding an Upper Class fare usually over-rides any age restriction rules pay-for-entry lounges have where airlines use other such lounges as part of their service.

A similar discussion came up ages ago about the Escape lounge at MAN. They also have a pay-to-enter age restriction, but it was confirmed that if you are indeed on an Upper Class fare with lounge access included, they do allow access to everyone holding an Upper Class fare regardless of age.

Spoiler alert

It's not the most exciting of lounges with the "usual" stuff on offer, but the business side does look out onto the runway.

Have a look http://v-flyer.com/forum/index.php?f=4& ... =viewtopic here for my last visit a few months ago.

Enjoy your flight and hols

The reason why this forum is so good, is the quick and informative replies.

Based on the info received I will play the snob card ii) and use the Upper Class ticket to negate the age restriction.

Thanks again
