AU Guests in Clubhouse

Hi,

So I'm not sure if this has been answered before nor not - but I for sure could not find an answer for it when I searched.

If an AU member is registering a guest for the clubhouse at LHR or LGW does a child 'count' as a guest, my partner and I are taking our nephew to Walt DisneyWorld in October and I'm hoping we can all be in the CH whilst we wait for the departure.

We are travelling on Reward PE tickets, so the lounge is only because I'm AU not because of class of travel. (nephew is 10yrs old - if that makes a difference)

Technically it's one guest so it may come down to whether they're feeling kind on the day.

Slightly off topic; ensure that you have written permission from the child's parent(s) that has been annotated by a Solicitor, and is therefore a legal document, that you have permission to take the child to, and from, the US.

The letter should include that you have, additionally, permission to act as an immediate next of kin, in event of accident or illness.

You will also require travel and health insurance for the child, in his name, as it is extremely unlikely that he can be included on your own policy.

I've never ever had an issue with paying to get my 2 children in as extra guests (and in the days they were under 5 they were always admitted free). Technically it's at the discretion of the receptionist, so make sure you ask nicely...

LHR was £30 per child and LGW was £25 the last time I tried either of them.
