Was on the VS8 last week and can highly recommend the sweetcorn soup, the Tandoori chicken salad and the delicious sticky toffee pudding (served with heavy cream.)
Thanks for posting James

I like having just a short time to decide. Invariably I consider the Veggie option then as I start to speak I find myself saying Chicken. I have no idea what Mrs D is thinking (ever) but she usually says, 'Beef'
Sorted.
Not sure what my flight numbers are but have an MCO coming up shortly. I will attempt to do a TR with photos although I'm struggling a bit with the new travel computer and Windows 8.1

I had the butternut squash cannelloni on my last UC flight (vs104) and it was delicious. I'm not a veggie by any means but just fancied something different for change!

But that's exactly what I think every time. My brain says butternut but my mouth asks for chicken. I may even say, 'can you make it a bit on the dry side.'
OK, this time its the veggie. This time next week I should be in the air eating my chi....Butternut.

I always thought Beef Wellington was covered in a pastry crust, all we got was the beef. When asked where was crust? The answer came there none. The FA said it was new and she had never served it before.

That sounds very much like an episode of Fawlty Towers!
That said, I'd actually quite like to see a "Basil" FSM who would deal with the more troublesome passengers in his own way... would be amusing for sure.

Just returned from LAX on VS8 & had the soup - fantastic, the beef wellington came as a steak with a mushroom pâté on top of it with a small circle of puff pastry on top of that (without the puff) which wasn't very appetizing, however the warm sticky toffee pudding was one of the best puddings I've ever had!

Another vote for the soup and the sticky toffee pudding....the tandoori chicken salad was also very good.
