We have 5 days to use in New York and are thinking of a quick trip to Cancun

Anyone know if any visa issues from US to Mexico and Mexico back to USA?

Isn't it your nationality that matters? So if you're a UK national you don't need a visa.

Doubt you'd need a Visa for a short trip

I suggest you see what it says on the US and Mexican embassy websites whether a visa is needed or not.

If a UK citizen, you don't need a visa, but you do need a tourist card. See here. As far as your going out from/ back into the US the only thing that should matter is that you have a current ESTA.

Was most concerned about the CUN-JFK leg and getting back into the UK
We will of course have valid ESTA
