Hi all,

When connecting from Dublin in Lhr and there is an overnight wait (from Expedia) I assume that means I leave the airport and return the next day ... What happens about baggage?

Do I then check in for the VA flight as if it was a brand new flight?

Pondering choices for the summer and would appreciate advice.

Yes you can leave the airport, and yes you then check in as normal for your VS flight the next day.

Are you actually starting in DUB, or doing the ex-EU trick? If the latter, you could just leave your baggage in London (at your hotel if you're staying in one, or at home if you're spending the night there, or in left luggage). Saves the hassle of carting it round DUB airport.
