Can I do a load check?

We (2 pax) have booked, at what is for us, fairly short notice to go to Orlando in May.
We are out on VS15 on 2nd May and back on VS28 on 23rd May. We have booked PE on S class tickets and wondered if a) we can upgrade on this ticket class with miles and b) if we can what is the load on those two dates. Trying to book seats there is little choice available - are able to sit together going out but not back.
On a slightly different topic, we are looking to spend a few days in Key West and are looking for recommendations on accommodation down there and also an estimate of journey time from Orlando.
Advice would be welcomed on all these questions.
Thanks
Red

Load check below, looks pretty full upfront. Normally S tickets can be upgraded but there are some discounted ones that are not.

Driving wise I'd say with a good trip it could be done in about 6 hours perhaps a little longer.

I drove back to Orlando from Key West at the end of my honeymoon in 2006 (got married in Orlando) and it took around 8 hours if I remember it correctly.
In Key West we stayed at the Pier House Resort which was very nice (we had an in-room jacuzzi) and has a great location.

For KW, what kind of accommodation are you looking for, what kind of price range? Some of the resorts are excellent, but so are many of the guest houses and I think you get a more KW experience in a guest house in the old town itself.

I'd agree. They give much more of a Key West feel than the big resort chains and they're all within walking ( staggering) distance of Duval St, Mallory Sq etc.

We are staying in Orlando for 3 weeks and are taking the opportunity to visit the keys for a few days during that period. It is to visit and experience Key West rather than a 'Keys vacation' so a nice guest house may be a good solution.
