Had it on Feb 13th and looked and tasted like McDonalds. Shredded lettuce, Cheese slice, flattened patty! First time I've ever felt the need to moan in that sanctuary.

i hope this was just some temporary abberation, the CH burger is a sacred object not to be tampered with

If you are referring to the LHR Burger, then 100% agreed. It's chronic and that's being positive. Best burger remains in NYC.

It used to be good. I used to order it by default, and find it a bit strange that its got crappy now...

Seems odd since most recent TRs have commented favourably on new menus, tapas etc. I've certainly enjoyed the burger on many occasions - hope it's an aberration too.

Mind you, has anyone ever had the burger at the IAD clubhouse? All I can say is .

IMHO none of the menu there is very appetising .

You're right, it never does seem on a par, but it least they have champs.

I could have had one too many glasses of Lanson but has not the shape of the burger in the LHR CH changed too? Mine was not circular, but elliptical!

Yes, this was LHR. It Was also my go-to default choice (well..after salmon and rollmops to start). Very disappointed. The gatekeeper/guardian dragon of the CH said that they rotate the recipe, but I don't remember ever having a different burger in the past 5 years.

Disappointment was slightly offset though by the fact that the later VS11 flight time allows for afternoon tea. Keep those scones coming...

Burger was as norm when I was in the LH CH back on 12 January. It looks like it has gone from the LGW CH now though not that that is too bad as it was never the same as the LH burger!

I think the quality of the meat itself has been pretty ordinary for quite some time.

I will just have to order one now on Saturday to see for myself!!........

BA recently 'enhanced' their burger too so maybe this is the VS response ??

I was in the Clubhouse yesterday evening and am please to report that the 'Clubhouse Burger' has now been replaced with 'The Original Clubhouse Burger'! Order has been restored. :-)
