Which hotel before an Antigua flight?

Hi, I've managed to get two UC reward seats to Antigua but as we live North we will have to stay over the night before. We will be driving so free parking a bonus.....looking at maximum convenience though and not sure which terminal the flight goes from at Gatwick.

Appreciate any help!

They are both connected to the south terminal where VS are based.

I would recommend the Hilton. We have stayed there a few times for our VS flights in the past and have booked the Hilton again for our UC flights to Antigua in May.

Hope this helps

A couple of related threads here and here. If you search for "Gatwick Hilton" as a key you'll also find many references to Gatwick hotels (and not just the Hilton) in Trip Reports

Gatwick Hilton Executive room, lets you into the lounge with snacks and free bar for a few hours. Check first because I think there is a closure for updates sometime.

Personally I prefer the Sofitel. It is at the N terminal but that is not far away and easy to get to. You can get good deals via Accor.com when a sale is one. The breakfasts are fab :)

Why a hotel breakfast when a CH breakfast awaits? :w

Virgin UC are delivering us to Antigua next week. :)
We have also booked the Hilton because it connects to the south terminal.
I get the impression the Sofitel Hotel is a bit nicer....but its at the north terminal, so you would have to get the monorail across.

Antigua has been our venue many times. Hilton always, club/excec always. We are from Cornwall, you need to travel up and be de-stressed before the morning flight.

Have a wonderful time.

Hilton/Antigua is a familiar combo for the RC family as well, has the added benefit of being right by the 'official' valet parking drop off.

This easter however we're giving the Hampton a go, as I do think the main Hilton is getting a bit worn out, and we got a stunningly cheap deal on a Hampton family room with brekkie. Plus it's north terminal and we're flying BA this time. I get that it's a 'cheaper' hilton brand so will report back on what it's like. Only 2 weeks(ish) to go, can't wait!!!

Even the Premier Inn at the north terminal is ok - if you book ahead can be £29 a night. There or the Sofitel are just as convenient as the Hilton; the monorail is quick and easy...

As V flyers who like something a bit different from the norm, you really can't beat bloc for style and proximity to the terminal. See this review to see what I mean.
