Room with a view....well hopefully a window......

Flying MAN to LAS outbound in early Aug on the temporary A340-600 flight. Only economy but booked seats yesterday including two 'window seats' ...41A & 42A.
Reading a couple of reviews I note that not all window seats offer a view!! :(!
Can anyone confirm that these seats on this aircraft variant do have genuine windows with an equally genuine view?

Thank You

not had direct experience of this plane, but seatguru shows them as a couple of rows behind the wing, so i suspect you'd have a view of much wing with some ground visible if you are at the right angle

Thanks for the replies to date. Yes I used seat guru to select the seats, though personally I wanted to be further back. I know they are not that far aft of the wing so no panoramic view....but my post is more aimed at the question do these two seats actually have a window? Some do not I'm advised!!

The only seats without windows are those directly behind the two exit rows. Look at any photo of the A340 from the outside and you can see where the missing windows are. Your seats are fine as far as the view is concerned, although a better view would be had in the rear cabin IMO

A related question of my own - does 31K on the A340-600 have any window at all? I know it is not a full window, but is there at least a partial window to look out of? If so how much neck straining is required? :)

(and yes I know if there is a window the main view will be a whole lot of aluminium!)

Thank you plane sailing.
Yes the final ecconomy section would have been better, but she would not sit there! These seats should have an ok view 'down' which is all I wanted ....provided they actually had a window for certain!
Good news it seems then

THANK YOU
