I knew VS were blocking access to FC online for a couple of days (this weekend), but I've just noticed this sentence:
This means you will be unable to make reward bookings or spend your miles during this time, either on our website or via our Contact Centres.http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/us/en/tr ... -news.html

Even Virgin EC Trains had IT problems during the week, but the amazing thing was my complaint was answered the same day and the next day an e-mail arrived apologising for the inconvenience and saying all was up and running again !!
Perhaps they could move some of the train IT department to VS? JUST A THOUGHT.

Problem is VTEC has virtually nothing to do with Virgin! It's 90% owned by Stagecoach, with the Virgin group holding a token 10% just so they can use the brand.
VS should be looking to Delta for help with its IT - which I've heard it is. It'll take time though.
