A wave from Delta Sky Lounge MCO

After four weeks away in South Carolina the time has come to return. Drove down to St. Augustine yesterday and was very disappointed by the place. So tacky. Anyway our plan to spend the day today went by the boards and we ended up at MCO by 2.30. Flew straight through security and up to the Delta lounge.
Mrs. D likes Prosecco, champagne or at a push Pinto Grigiot.
So I go to the bar and ask for Prosecco.
Sorry no.
Any other sparking wine.
Sorry no. White wine or red wine.
Pinot Grigio please.
Sorry no. The white is Chardonnay. It's not oaky.
So after many years of ABC (anything but Chardonnay) Mrs D has had a glass.
Hot food is pea soup or vegetable soup.
So its downstairs to Outback for a steak which was delicious and has a runway view. We saw a Virgin 747 come in.
Back in the Delta lounge now for another glass of Chardonnay, catch up on email and read my kindle before boarding still over three hours away.

Hope you had a good holiday and the weather warmed up.

Enjoy the delta Lounge ( :( ) and have a great flight back to Blighty.

At least it exists. AA don't even have a lounge there.

Is this the lounge that apparently has a resident mouse (of the non Disney variety)?

Hope your time is SC was good Dicky, to offset the disappointing St Augustine and the dismal lounge experience. I'm ABC too, Sauv Blanc for me, well unless there's some decent fizz around.

You'll be back in a cold UK now, trust it was a good flight.

Mrs D took a sip and said, "Its not Chardonnay."
I said nothing.

Funnily I asked for Chardonnay on the plane for me and they didn't have any so I went for Sancerre, which was delicious.
