A very good morning to you, from the Heathrow Clubhouse

I'm starting to understand just why I pulled myself out of bed at 4.30am this morning. It's nice in here, but seems busier than usual. Perhaps it's just me being on my own this time and only a computer to talk to!

With apologies though to spacedog and her other half who are travelling on the same aircraft as me today in Premium, as I couldn't get them both into this wonderful serenity. But I hope you guys have a great flight anyway.

My coffee has just arrived, my Eggs Benedict is on the way, and I can hear the shower calling me so I can freshen up for my 11 hours in the cramped conditions of an Upper Class Suite in the nose section of a Boeing 747-400. ):

Hope everyone has as good a day, as I will be having.

I've just had a sausage and egg McMuffin, does that count?

Have a great day...

Close enough. Did it get served to you by a Virgin Redhead? 8D

Have a wonderful time in there. Poor Spacedog, she'll get over it I'm sure!

Safe flight.

Oh gosh, please don't worry at all! :) I hope you had a wonderful time in the CH. We were delayed on the way down and ended up with less than 40 minutes to kill in T3. How was the flight for you? The PE cabin crew were incredible, the best we've experienced. Sadly we're now waiting at SFO as our connecting flight to Seattle is delayed by two hours :(

The Upper Class crew were OK. More interested in hob-nobbing than actually serving people. But that didn't bother me too much as I spend a lot of my time at the bar chatting to other passengers. I would have come and said "Hello", but I realised that I wouldn't have known what you looked like! Profile pictures can be deceiving.

Glad you had a good flight though. It got a little bumpy towards the end didn't it? I'm surprised the seat belt sign didn't get switched on actually. I'm now sat in my hotel room in the East Bay after the usual tortuous drive through San Francisco/San Mateo/Hayward traffic.

Enjoy your trip! :D

Sorry to hear they weren't 100% on the ball! But I'm glad you enjoyed the flight regardless. We feel like our crew deserve a letter of recommendation, my OH was extremely impressed.

I usually board the plane looking like my profile picture, but generally tend to exit looking like Worzel Gummidge. The inflight transformation is quite remarkable!!

Yes, it was a bit bumpy, and, like you, I was surprised they didn't pop the seat belt sign on. Hope you've rested up now at the hotel after the drive. With the delay, from our front door to the Sheraton in downtown Seattle we were on the go for 25 hours!

I do have a green head (which is separated from my body), but I am wearing a white top today, not a green one.

Besides, that profile picture is far better looking than the real thing... |:)

Funnily enough, I was in the Clubhouse later that morning and it was very quiet by the time I was there, which surprised me as I thought it would be heaving!
