Thats a hellova routing from BNA (I glad to see I'm not the only traveller doing business there....)

I'll definitely consider that for my next trip in mid-Sept if it's as good (and TP rich) as it seems - that sounds like a 11TP each way routing in J? - it *may* just renew my AU if lucky, and I get another internal flight, as would end up at 37 for the year with my math.

BNA - MSP thoroughly uneventful aside from never ending views of Midwest farmland.

A quick dash n splash, a couple of work calls and answering some emails in the Delta Sky Club at C12 then off to G20 and onboard and into 2C & 2D.

Next stop SFO.

PS. I live in Nashville, TN, born & raised in Manchester.

Hitting the Amex lounge in SFO? It will be a chore, since it's past security in the UA terminal, good luck with that! Very nice space.

Must be the day for long routings. I've just got off DL MCO > LAX and I'm just waiting for my Delta Connection shuttle to get back to SFO. Around $650 in First (A) which gives you 12 Tier Points into your FC account :-)

Just landed in SFO. We've got eight hours until VS042 so yes, Centurion Lounge, Clubhouse and Cat Cora's place. Hoping for a sighting and maybe a photo!

Recommendation. Do NOT attempt AMEX Centurion Lounge unless you are already in Terminal 3.

We landed in T2 and took the train over to T3. Boarding passes, unsuprisingly, didn't have TSA Pre-Check, so were filtered into the main line and had to do all the shoes-off, laptop-out nonsense.

And the lounge here is much smaller than other Centurion Lounges although service is excellent.

And just noticed the Clubhouse here is scheduled to close at 7:00pm. Flight is at 9:25pm.

Really? Come on now Virgin.....

SFO Clubhouse update.

Now closes at 8:25pm. Perfect for boarding VS042.

Centurion Lounge has a really great staff.

And a wine tasting wall.

Food selection is just meh. Salmon, rice, tepid udon noodles.

Great bar staff.
