I would hope so

The 4 EDI > LHR returns Ive taken in the past 6 weeks have all been rammed.

Doesn't mean to say the airlines have to or even will pass this on to pax though.

Yes. They could keep the extra tenner and make the service viable. Maybe.

If the service could remain, i would class that as a worthwhile sacrifice!

I doubt it will change anything for LR, The slots have also been formally handed back to the competition body that is overseeing the slot release procedure (the deadline for bids was Thursday) so I think VS would have to bid for them again.
