VS IT strikes again...

I do wonder if this issue is in any way related to another post about online check-in being down.

Anyway, for the last 12+ hours I've not been able to view my bookings when either logged into my FC account or when manually typing in booking ref or e-tix number. Both my future ex-DUB booking to SFO which was previously showing and my current booking with ANA to HND arranged through VS as a codeshare are missing and I've tried all permutations, including typing in my hubby's details and still the message is the same: "we are unable to retrieve your booking". :0 n(

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I've just logged into my FC account and can see my ex-DUB flight to SFO listed under Future Flights and can successfully access it. I'm using Firefox if that has any bearing on the issue.

Working fine for me with Safari on the iPhone.

Mmm wonder what could be then, I'm using iPhone and iPad. Wonder if it's anything to do with me being in Japan, different IP addresses maybe. We'll see. I'll keep an eye on it ans report to VS if it lasts more than a couple of days.

I had this problem at the weekend....."we have no record of your booking". It seems to be fine now though. I wonder if IT are doing quite a lot of tweaking at the moment.

Update:
I can now find my booking when going through MMB and typing in the booking ref and my name (Expedia have submitted my first and middle name with no spacing so I have to type that), and my FC number is linked to the booking.

But still, when logged into my FC account and clicking "your future bookings" it comes up with no bookings linked to my FC number (and it has been correctly added). Up until I discovered this anomaly a few days ago my booking with the funny name spelling was appearing in my FC account. Go figure! I hope there's no problem.

Yes the merging of names thing is normal if you book with Expedia. I got in a panic when it first happened to me but everything was fine, not a problem.

I haven't had a problem getting onto my booking but can no longer view the seat map on outbound or inbound for my flights in July..for my flights in August though I can view the seat map.

Similar problem for us. We have flights next week and in September. They show up on 'future bookings' on my FC account, but when OH logs on to his FC account, it says no bookings linked to his FC number. If he inputs the booking ref in the box on his FC page, it shows the correct flights and his FC number. ?| As Bretty says 'go figure'

was it cheaper to book with expedia rather than direct

We booked direct so it's not just an Expedia problem.

Hi Barnaby100,

This is an ex-DUB booking, so yes, a huge saving in UC than over the published fares at the time, and now even higher saving as fares have gone up.
