We're flying Upper (our first time and managed to grab two G's!!) from LGW to MCO in January. Any suggestions on seat preferences? We're a couple and would like to chat without twisting our heads.

Assuming a 747, 6A and K. Without sitting on the same side, it's the closest you can be, and there's no passing traffic. As with all other UC seats, you can also dine together with one of you on the ottoman.

I totally agree with everything pjh has said, 6AK work brilliantly for a couple.

Totally agree.
Only downside is no overhead locker, but if you board early you should have no trouble stowing your hand luggage above row 8. If that's not possible just give your bag to a member of CC and they will find somewhere.
There have been a few threads on this topic in the past and it is usually 6A and K that come out as the preferred choice.

If you can't get 6A and K go for 7 and 8 we had these seats and found them very good. You still have to lean forward to chat when in the front two and with 7 and 8 just talk over the divider and you have the overhead bins.

Thank you all. It appears seats 6A and K are in close proximity.

Yes, the foot stools are touching each other.

Thank you all. I've managed to reserve 6A and K for both outbound and inbound.
