Tonight I received a reservation confirmation from VA saying that it your ready to fly :D whoopee I thought where I am off to it turns out I received seat confirmation with my email and house phone number with a name I don't know and a PNR.

So with all this information I could easily log in to this persons booking and do what I may ,of which I didn't do but phoned Virgin immediately and asked for a full explanation of why my email and home phone number appear on a reservation booking I did not make.

The booking was made in New York by a travel agent and I will be receiving a call sometime tomorrow with the outcome.

Is this another IT glitch I wonder , will update you when they call me back :(!

Obvious question but gave you checked that none of your credit cards have been used and that this not some kind of fraud/identity theft?

This happened to me with BA last year. (Received an email with extensive booking details).

They didn't seem concerned.
