Seat booking

When the time comes to book my flights, I will be looking for certain seats, if I ring VS to book instead of doing it online, will they be able to tell me if those seats are free before I book and will the prices be the same as online?.

Also, what number would I ring for this and what's the best time to phone them? (Looking at the 11 month window).

Thanks :)

As far as I am aware they cannot tell you which specific seats are free before the booking is made. The prices will be the same as online.

Are you a member of their FC? If so ring the number on the back of your card and you may be able to get through to someone a little faster depending on your membership tier. Otherwise you will find their contact information here - I didn't want to assume you would be calling from the UK, that page gives you the reservation numbers worldwide 8D

Sorry I can't help on the best time to call, I use the Au booking line which does not really give a fair view of the waiting time for the main switchboard.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you heading and which specific seat are you trying to snag? ii)

Thanks Joeyc for the info.

I'm flying to Orlando and hoping for Exit Seats on upper deck but there are 4 of us adults and I know they're very popular so was hoping to get in pretty quick :D

I am a flying club member but this will be our first time with VIrgin so on "Peasant Tier" at the moment :o)

I've done that before when considering whether to change flights, but it was UC....and of course it was subject to the risk of things changing by the time the change was made...
