Evening all from the Wing

No not an aircraft wing but the Cathay Pacific Lounge at HKG.
Waiting for my flight back to Manchester, which has a reputation of raining. Well it ain't anything compared to some of the "showers" they have been having out here! :(!
Hope the pilot can see his way to the runway.
Have to say I was very impressed with the flight out, don't know if it is allowed to post a positive trip report on this forum regarding a competing airline? ?|

Good Morning from a beautiful day dawning in Florida.
Have a good flight and would be most interested in a positive TR from any airline . :D

I'd also be interested in the TR and review of the Wing. I am flying back from Hong Kong in December with Cathay in Business :-)

All the CX lounges at HKG are good. The first class lounge at the Wing is particularly good ( especially the restaurant run by the Peninsula and the private cabanas The noodle bar ( open to all in The Wing) is also very good.
IMHO the CX J product is solid :).

Have second DL, so far most impressed though not privi to the secrets of the First side of the lounge! Good selection of food and drinks but no table service except for clearing the tables.
Now moved on to the Bridge Lounge which is next to my gate. Seems more tranquil than the other and there is in my opinion a better selection of hot food on offer. Lighting in here is more subdued, relaxing music etc; in fact I will have to fight to stay awake!
Out of interest the Arrivals Lounge was extremely busy, there was a 45 minute wait if you needed a shower and seats were hard to find.

Of course it is. :) If you look over the years you'll find positive reviews of (amongst others) BA, SQ, EK, QF, EY, TK and even EasyJet and Ryanair. You won't be getting one from me about LOT, though....
